Yes. Free is for one owner and includes appointments, client records, services, a simple Muluno booking page and email reminders. You can use Grow for payments, website customisation and consultation forms without adding staff. The management app is available on iPhone and iPad; the browser workspace is in private preview.
Can I use it if I rent a chair?+
You can set up your own hairdressing business in Muluno with your own services, clients and booking page. This page describes managing your own business, not sharing a salon's diary or managing chair-rental agreements. Check any arrangements with the salon separately.
Do my clients need to download an app?+
No. You use the Muluno app to manage the business. Clients can choose a service and book through your Muluno booking website in their browser, as a guest or with a client account.
Can I set different times for cuts and colour?+
Yes. Each service has its own duration and an optional buffer afterwards. Set your organisation opening hours and service availability to reflect when you take bookings. A service occupies one continuous booked slot; this is not separate colour-processing or overlapping-appointment scheduling.
Can I take deposits and card payments?+
Payments are on Grow and Pro, subject to business verification, a signed agreement and Stripe approval. Choose a deposit or full payment online, then collect an outstanding balance in person. Tap to Pay on a supported iPhone does not need a separate card reader. Supported-device requirements and security allowances apply. Muluno adds no transaction fee; Stripe processing fees still apply.
What can I keep in a client's record?+
Keep general client notes and appointment history alongside notes for individual visits. Grow and Pro also let you create consultation forms and send secure email links. Paired client-room iPad form completion and kiosk check-in are Pro features.
Can I keep my existing website or move my records?+
Grow and Pro include a booking widget for an existing website, as well as full Muluno website customisation. We can also help transfer supported client, staff, service and future appointment records at no charge, subject to review of supported exports and records. Contact support before moving so we can confirm what is supported.
What happens when the seven days of Pro finish?+
Stay on Free or choose a monthly Grow or Pro subscription. No payment method is required for the seven days and there is no automatic charge. Paid subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled in your Apple account settings. SMS credits are purchased separately on eligible plans.
